Merry Christmas

I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It is unfortunate that we have become so politically correct and many will not wish you a Merry Christmas. We must remember the reason for the season.

We call it Christmas for a reason. Let the world rejoice that the Savior was born (whenever). May we all take time to review, read, and meditate about that day when our God was placed in a manger!

He did grow up. He did teach us about God and man. He did make demands on us. He did die for us. He has prepared a place for us.

He gave His life for us. Let’s give our lives to him.

Christmas

What a wonderful time of year. Family, gifts, food and memories. The hugs, the catching up of family since last being together.
I have wonderful memories of family especially during the holidays. Grandparents who open their homes and their lives for all of us to come a make memories.
As the years pass, the meaning of Christmas has changed. I love the Christmas story. Before it was about gifts and family, but now it is more about Jesus. He is truly the reason for the season.
Wal-Mart, Sears and the malls would want us to think differently. Don’t take Christ out of Christmas. Whether a bull market or a recession, take time to reflect on the Son of God who became one of us to love us, forgive us and die for us.
May you have a Merry Christmas and our prayer for you is that God will bless you during this time that the world reflects to some degree upon the son of Mary, the Christ.
