Pray For Done-ness
I have a friend that is going through a tough time. The friend has a faith in God. The friend is trying to plough through this life and end up with God. But to be perfectly honest, sometimes - most times, that is so tough.
In a conversation with this friend a few days ago we were talking about the situation in the friend's life. Then the friend said, "pray for me. Pray for done-ness."
What a prayer that would be.
"It is finished."
"It is over."
The thing I have to remember as do you, done-ness may not come in this life. More than likely it won't. Temptations! Sins! Discouragement! But Jesus promises a time when done-ness will be accomplished. I long for those days - done-ness. What about you?

Done-ness to me is the reality of completing this life. It does not imply that nothing goes on in heaven. The Bible is clear that we are on a journey home. When we arrive in at least one sense our journey is over. That is done-ness to me.
Hey Sid! Freda Lynn just gave me your link. Nice place you got here!
